GreenTrans provides refrigerated transport for businesses that need chilled and frozen goods moved at the right temperature. We collect and deliver in refrigerated Mercedes Sprinter vans with roof-mounted fridge units, record the temperature inside the van throughout every journey and give you a temperature report for your load. We are based in Wellingborough and cover Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, for one-off loads, urgent deliveries and regular runs.

What is refrigerated transport?

Refrigerated transport – also called temperature-controlled or reefer transport – moves goods in an insulated vehicle with its own fridge unit, so products stay chilled or frozen from the moment they are loaded until they are delivered. It is how food producers, wholesalers and distributors keep the cold chain unbroken between their sites and their customers.

Temperature monitoring on every load

With chilled and frozen goods, being able to prove the temperature matters as much as the delivery itself. On every refrigerated load we carry:

1. The temperature is agreed before collection. You tell us the temperature or range your goods need, and we confirm it before the van is booked.
2. The temperature is recorded all the way. Readings are recorded continuously, from collection right through to delivery.
3. You receive a temperature report. A printout or report for your load, ready for your customer, auditor or quality team.
